Vietnam’s third city sits midway down the coast, the gateway to the Marble Mountains, the beaches of My Khe and the lantern-lit lanes of nearby Hội An.
Đà Nẵng is our busiest domestic sector after Hồ Chí Minh City — a short, scenic hop that crosses the narrow waist of the country in well under an hour and a half. The turboprop keeps early and late frequencies close and quiet; the jet carries the mid-day peaks.
From the air the approach traces the Hải Vân pass and the long curve of the bay before touching down minutes from the river. It is the natural first stop for travellers bound for Hội An and the old imperial capital of Huế further north.
